Membership in the HCA

Membership in the HCA entitles you to attend membership-only events, receive discounted admission at certain other HCA events; membership dues benefit the community by helping cover the cost of holding HCA events.

There are two classes of membership in the Hygiene Community Association: Full Membership and Associate Membership.

Full Membership is extended to residents, business owners, and property owners, 18 years of age and over, in the Hygiene Community Association Membership Area (see map). Additionally, residents and property owners 18 years of age and over, whose property is in unincorporated Boulder County and within one (1) mile of the Hygiene Community Association Membership Area may petition the board for Full Membership. All Members in good standing shall have the right to vote. Only Members of the Hygiene Community Association, as defined above, may hold elective office.

Associate Membership is extended to anyone who does not meet the qualifications for Full Membership but wishes to be part of the Association. Associate Members shall not have the right to vote or hold elective office.
